The GPU is not powerful enough to render GUI in 4K smoothly.

A build with bumped NFS chunk size to test: 7.95.beta5b
-
I have uploaded 7.95.beta5b build with some experimental changes:
- bumped NFS chunk size for possibly improved libnfs performance
- removed waiting for a key frame in Amlogic decoder to fix some unplayable samples
Please report only regressions vs 7.95.beta5, I read all the posts and note what need to be fixed. -

Unfortunately I am not a coder.
So me looking at the kernel is not going to help anyone.Me neither.

Don't listen to their "support". I am using a 2TB external HDD - no issues with both S805 and S905.

Not possible in Jarvis or not possible at all for AMLogic? If not at all, is there anything else that can be done?
I think panterck is right, only 23.976p and 24p are out of sync, 25/50fps seems to be fine. I have not tested 29.98/30/59.97/60fps yet...Thanks again for all your great support!
Nothing is impossible when you have time, skills and documentation. Unfortunately when developing for Amlogic a lot of guesses, trials and errors have to be made. I don't think that Amlogic kernel supports any kind of PLL adjustment. You are free to look at kernel source code and try to implement it but I have to warn you that it's a bit messy.

ukdaveuk Sorry, this suggestion was directed at TheLegendOfMart.

I suggest you try updating to the latest TVHeadend version from LE addons repository. Other than that I can't help.
-
For Raspberry Pis, they introduced "PLL adjustment to maintain audio/video sync" in Krypton, since which even every HD audio track is perfectly in sync.
Maybe this is an option for AMLogic devices too?Not possible.

kszaq: I upgraded from Jarvis builds to last Krypton build, 7.95.beta5, and now I can't play the next sample:Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.
No picture and sound.
Thanks for your work.Thank you for the sample. I will try to fix it and if I can't I will ask Peak3d (the author of Amlogic hardware decoding improvements) for help.

Thank you. Any plans to use a more recent kernel version and/or the media built editon? There only kernel version we can use is 3.14. My builds have the (almost) latest media_build drivers from here: GitHub - crazycat69/linux_media: TBS linux open source drivers excluding drivers that cannot be backported to 3.14.

Guys with issues installing to internal: please make a reboot and grab log according to this post: thread-981.html (no need to try running installtointernal first).
Then open the zip file and attach 02_System.log file to your post.

Sorry, I don't know.
I'm compiling on CentOS 7 and everything is OK.
-
I also noticed that official repo use gcc-6.2, instead gcc-5.3 used here. Do you know how to update it to use 6.2 ?You are trying to compile LE 7.0. Official LE 7.0 uses GCC 5.3. LE 8.0 uses GCC 6.2.

I'm sorry but I don't have any PVR backend and cannot solve something I'm unable to reproduce. You can only hope this gets fixed upstream.
-
As far as I know Chromium is only compatible with x86_64.
-
what kind of log would you need in that case ? (even if I found the issue)
dmesg ? lsusb ?If you found the issue please share your results - I can see you already did.
First step is to get full system log (point 8): thread-981.html

I don't think any of us has a crystal ball, no logs = no idea.
