Like I said in OP unfortunately I'm unable to provide support for HDR.

Amlogic audio driver is "dual output", when you select HDMI for passthrough, sound will also come out of SPDIF.

There might be an issue with fractional frame rates in some cases in the latest build. I hope it'll be fixed in the next build.

Anyone having issues with video playback has to post samples. Without it I cannot reproduce any issue. Media info alone does not help.

I can confirm that the 2 samples do not play correctly. I will look into this but not very soon, I have some very important family duties now.

In order to test this new kernel with 7.03, I've unpacked kernel.img with abootimg.
Do I only have to overwrite zImage before building the new .img ?

When the changes are considered stable, I will port them to my 7.0 build. You might be able to replace zImage only, but I can't promise it'll work.

There have been no updates in sound handling in 8.0.1b.

It's still 3.14.29.

Kernel 4.9 is not fully functional and when ready will probably need to have hw decoding in Kodi reworked (again).

mmpp It looks like Amlogic fixed something in HDR/black level handling.

I must have omitted the patches when porting changes... I will add it shortly.

I confirm that there is no competition.

afl1 is doing really great job in supporting those internal DVB tuners.

I'm still trying yo figure out what is causing analog audio to misbehave.
