8.0.2c is now being uploaded with some hardware-related improvements. If you don't need RTC, CVBS or internal tuner support (this is added only thanks to afl1 hard work), you don't need to upgrade.
Edit: Images pulled due to issues with HDMI output. Hopefully will fix soon.

quitroot Please reboot to LE from SD card and run installtointernal again.
The device tree is now amended so that you shouldn't have this issue if you run installtointernal in the future with Android still on internal partition.

quitroot KI Pro has Android Nougat from factory and requires Nougat partition layout for installation to work properly. What you can do is try to install it for the second time or re-download device tree, I have updated it with Nougat partition layout: gxl_p230_k1_pro.dtb

7.0 builds are better than 8.0 builds. With the 7.0 builds, my beamer automatically switches the image for 3D movies into the 3D mode. This does not work with the 8.0 builds unfortunately.
Can you implement this function in the 8.0 builds?
Can you install "ODroid C2 - 3D Autoswitch" addon from LibreELEC repository (it's in Services)?

I haven't had an opportunity to look at it yet.
That's a fact but the marshmallow kernel is pure crap for the S905X soc.
It's fine on my 1080p for normal media. Don't worry, I will make sure the awesome work from johngalt is merged sooner or later to my builds.

the overall performance in 7.0.312k seems to me better than the 8.02b .
In this old build i dont get dropped and skipped frames. 100% good playback.
Can you confirm the same daz?
I've said many times that you cannot compare Krypton to Jarvis... no matter what kernel playback on Jarvis will be smoother in most cases.
