Try to boot with one of 2GB device trees. Then login over SSH and execute:

mount -o rw,remount /flash
dd if=/dev/dtb of=/flash/dtb_backup bs=256k

You'll have a backup from internal partition on your SD card/USB drive.

Please read the changelog. One thing: currently 8.1.x builds are not working on WP2.

AV video out is active only when HDMI is not connected. Simultaneous output is not possible.

The storage partition is resized the first boot to fit the rest of SD card. Try a fresh install - burn image with Rufus or dd.

Any SMB issues are related to code changed in LE 8.2. If it's fixed upstream, it's fixed here.

RobzInadE This is not S802/S812 support thread. Moreover, S805 doesn't support DD+ passthrough, so it's not something anyone can help you with here.

sonofdibnah I will check if I can bring the driver back to 8.x builds. I had issues compiling it.

RayW I am aware of the issue - 3D handling changed in Nougat kernel and it needs to be patched. Please have patience, I aim to fix it in one of the next builds.

I did a fresh install, copied the code to autostart.sh and putting it to configfiles folder, after reboot, nothing changes.

Perhaps there's no AC3 track for the channel you're watching. Hit "O" on your keyboard while watching to get codec info.

One more thing: device trees are not automatically updated in my builds (as opposed to official LE) because there is no easy way to determine which device tree was used by the user. I have some ideas on how to change this.

It looks like the chip is detected but the driver not loaded. Is this a box that worked properly with any earlier build? Can you also post a result of udevadm info /sys/bus/sdio/devices/sdio*?

The basic image already contains gxbb_p200, gxbb_p200_2g, gxl_p212_1g and gxl_p212_2g device trees, so you already use one.

Remote control mapping has noting to do with device tree, at least in my builds.

The file you posted includes gxl_211 and gxl_p215 boards device trees. Unfortunately these are not available in Amlogic sources.

If you use Amlogic Customization Tool, you should be able to extract dts files from that firmware. That would help a lot.
