I get "no signal" only after stopping but I thing the reason is the same. I will try to prepare a test build today evening.

pepeq I think I may have a solution for the issue - as long as the issue is what I can reproduce on my non-3D TV, i.e. "no signal" after stopping a 3D video.

kszaq, pls, compile tvheadead42 with patch tvheadend42-04_dvb_c_annexB.patch to test fix for this issue. Currently I am unable to build addons for LE 8.2.

It used to happen but I fixed it long time ago. I also have to admit that for some time now I've been using a S905 device, S805 only sporadically for testing - and it works just fine.
Android uses a different CEC driver that is not compatible with libcec.
-
cartucho Sadly I cannot help more, the driver is tweaked as far as possible. Have you tried using a different HDMI cable?
-
No, I don't have C1, no build is planned for this board.
-
You can't have LE on internal memory and working recovery at the same time. Device tree is stored in one place and a different device tree is needed for LE and recovery.

Sorry, I was supposed to call filkint.
cartucho You can download 8.1.4 from Index of /s805/8.1.4/
-
cartucho You can now build S805 from libreelec-8.2 branch.

It's not one man. We wouldn't have nicely working Nougat kernel without johngalt, I also pick improvements from other developers. And don't forget LE and Kodi developers.
-
I will release 8.1.4 with only some package bumps. I did not have time to look into 3D/RGB issues recently, sorry for that.
I am still waiting for someone with 3D issues to upload a sample that you can reproduce crashing with, as requested some time ago...
-
Some time ago I tweaked S805 as much as possible, kernel side there is no place for more improvement - or in other words I don't want to modify it to not break anything. A next build will include bumped libcec version, we'll see if this improves things for you.
-
The latest revision has not been tested for S805. The compile error is already fixed in my development branch.
-
atreyu I looked at wrong changelog - please try 8.1.2.

MatthewHodgson Have you tried using 7.0.1.1? Some people claim that this builds works fine and all later builds freeze. It would give me a hint where to look for a solution.
-
Changing channels will progressively slow down and sometimes will even crash kodi (program restarts).
Which build? If you tried something else than 8.1.1, please try it and report.

For now devices other than C2 have no support for LIRC. For this a modified device tree is required.
