ibertron Can you try to use this device tree: gxbb_p200_2G_tronsmart_v95.dtb
-
Do I understand correctly that wifi_pwm = wifi power management?I tried to remove this block from gxl_p212_2g.dtb, converting it to * .dts, then back to * .dtb, but the TV box with this dtb hangs on maxelsa bootlogo.Help me please understand this problem.
Thank you so much for your hard work! No, I think it's about Pulse-width modulation - Wikipedia, something introduced in Nougat kernel and required to boot. I am working on improving Broadcom WiFi stability.

What confuses me is that the adapter seems to have different IDs in Android and LE.
Android:

kszaq - any idea about this? Thanks in advance!
Recompile kernel, remove console=tty0 from CMDLINE.
Hi guys!
As always, many thanks to @kszaq for his awesome job, you rock man!
In my current setup I have a TX5 Pro box with Kodi Jarvis 16 installed on the system memory (using LibreELEC 7.0 for S905/S905X provided by kszaq, of course). I want to try this new build based on Kodi Krypton, but first I want to test it on a USB drive to see if everything works correctly.
My question is really simple: is there any terminal command that I can type to start the device from the USB drive? How can I tell the box to start from the pendrive? Just to be sure, this is the configuration that I want to test: internal memory -> Libreelec 7.0.3.012l and USB drive -> Libreelec 8.1.5.
Thanks for your help and keep up with the good work,
Aitor
Simply follow installation instructions, running from USB drive won't touch internal memory. If you want a command: reboot update

Are these collected while hard drive is connected to the box?

Can you please create a pull request: Comparing kszaq:master...afl1:r848a · kszaq/dvb_tv-aml · GitHub
-
Please get the results of:
udevadm test /dev/sda 2>&1 | paste
mount | paste
parted -l /dev/sda | paste

Post moved to a new thread.
ibertron From your log it looks like the drive is detected. Is it not visible in Kodi?
-
Try disabling it in Kodi and also run this over SSH: fw_setenv cecconfig 0

Can you help find the correct firmware for my tv box h96pro+ 2/16gb from this link? I think this R-BOX have the same parts inside like my H96.
Unfortunately I cannot help with Android firmware, mainly because I have only a few boxes, how can I know all of them? The best place to ask is FreakTab where you'll find users with the same box for sure.
I need pull out from firmware correct device tree: dtb.img, but how? What kind of program can I use to extract this file?
Extract upgrade firmware with your favourite app, e.g. 7-zip.

Disable Hyperion. It is known to cause crashes.

On my current LE setup on my x86 machine I am booting from a thumb drive. I have created a new partition on the boot disk called 'downloads', and set my downloads to be saved on this completely new partition. The reason for this being, if I accidentally downloaded something too large to the storage partition and it ran out of space, after reboot I would be greeted with the stock confluence skin and not the skin I set. Apparently this used to happen because guisettings.xml has to be written to just before shutdown and there would be no space for this to happen. Is LE and this variant of the OS also susceptible to this issue? If yes, is there any way I can create the extra partition on the internal nand of the box I am using? In addition to the standard Libreelec and Libreelec_disk partitions ie. If I create the OS on a thumb drive or SD card, create the extra partition and then 'installtointernal', will it create the extra partition instead of just 2?
The only way to add a partition to internal memory is to change device tree, flash it once, reboot, install LE. There is no guide for it available.
Installtointernal script always uses partition layout provided by bootloader (i.e. dtb from internal memory). It does not repartition the memory.
Everything works great!
Is there any chance in enabling the Sata port and disk access for the Tronsmart Vega S95 Telos?
Thanks
Unfortunately I don't have that device. If you tell me what is SATA adapter used in it, I can see if I can add a driver for it. Please create a new thread (so that we do not have to search 40 pages in this thread for posts) and attach dmesg | paste created just after booting the box.

I bet you have an unsupported WiFi chip. Please read this thread: [S905X] Unknown WLAN chip
