if i plug the sd card and turn on while pressing the button it keeps on mecool log and doesn't do anything!!!!
You forgot to put a correct device tree on SD card. M8S Pro+ uses an odd board name and default device tree doesn't work.
dortmunder First of all try using one of the device trees provided in the first post.
If the card cannot be read in Android, it may suggest an issue with card reader in your box. Is any other card readable/writeable in Android?
the_bo Are you able to check if your SD card with LE is writeable in Android?
kszaq Any chance of getting a test build with Leia incorporated for the S912. Would love to test one out to see what the improvements would be like.
Unfortunately no. Like I said before: I will not create Kodi 18 builds before a first Kodi 18 alpha. I simply don't have time for this.
xbmc Please try this test build (update from 8.1.x): LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-devel-20170920215257-r26231-g5b258f7.tar
Hi kszaq,
On S905X the max CPU frequency ist still 1200 Mhz, can it be this patch?
Because on S905X it's 1512 and not 1536 like on S905.
Temperature is not an issue below 40 °C.
Yes, you are correct. I will fix this in next build.
Looking at logs, it seems to be related to this PR: AESinkALSA: Return false if we don't know about our output channels by fritsch · Pull Request #12641 · xbmc/xbmc · GitHub
I will try to amend it for stereo layouts.
You can enable suspend in my latest builds: [8.1.8] LibreELEC 8.2 for S912
taki It's already included in my builds.
Steve1987 Please read this blog post on Samba changes: LibreELEC (Krypton) v8.1.1 BETA – LibreELEC
It's not yet supported. It will probably be supported when I find time to merge and test the latest kernel updates.
Any chance all the old changelogs can be stored somewhere?
They are hidden under "Older builds" button in OP.
I've put back 8.1.6 and the .update folder is writeable now.
It cannot be only one folder, it should be whole /storage partition.
afl1 Any chance you can share the Kodi patch?
It is very time consuming, because mostly I cannot use the normal update method but I have to remove the card and prepare it again.
Today I continue the testing and I'll come back if I found any solid repeatable behaviour.
Please don't waste your time. If the issue is there from the beginning, it should be fixed in kernel. I will see if Amlogic tried to fix it (e.g. PD#141411: emmc: modify calibration dly_step for gxm · khadas/linux@523a22d · GitHub).
