S905W is not yet supported. It works but I did not add support specifically for it.

If you run LE from SD card or USB drive, the command that afl1 gave you will create a backup of Android dtb. You should have Android on internal memory to create this backup.

franky644 Are you sure this is a device tree from K2 Pro that has Android on internal memory? This looks 100% like K1 Pro device tree for LE.

It appears that the change was committed to Kodi master, in which case I would have assumed the fix was carried forward automatically into the Leia source code.
Actually I backported the fix from Leia to Krypton but you are correct - the code is present in Leia source unless it was changed later at some point.

There is KI Plus and KI Pro. Have you tried using the KI Pro dtb?
Can you attach device tree from factory firmware?
When someone creates a dtb for your device, it would fit all builds using Nougat kernel.

Pelican There are many VideoPlayer improvements in Kodi Leia both in generic terms and for Amlogic. I think that when Leia is ready, it will be overall much better than Krypton in video playback.

docooler Colorspace issue is not solvable for now, Nougat kernel doesn't support RGB mode.

Replace kszaq.libreelec.tv with sx05.eu to make links work.

EngineerOfLife Currently LE 8.2 fails to build on Ubuntu 17.10, there's a WIP PR to fix it: fix 8.2 branch to compile at Ubuntu 17.10 by CvH · Pull Request #2186 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub

K1 Pro seems pretty nice - you get all S905X goodies, Gigabit Ethernet and L1 Widevine.

Actually Amlogic developed Nougat kernel in a separate branch, it will be very hard to patch current linux-amlogic kernel to Nougat...

Recent RPi builds include updated TVH «tvheadend42: changed to ffmpegx»
Is it posiible to make a tvheadend with ffmpegx support for our builds?
You are aware that ffmpegx is simply a nickname for ffmpeg with encoders enabled?

GDPR-2 I think that the idea behind "common Amlogic GX project" is to use mainline kernel and V4L2 interface for HW-accelerated video playback which is yet to be written for Amlogic. GDPR-1 means to upstream the patches we have for current Amlogic state, e.g. 3.14 kernel and amcodec. As soon as I get my new laptop I will start working on upstreaming patches. Thanks to you and afl1 it will be a little easier now that the patches are rebased for Leia.

oldaptvtester Have you tried "gxl_p212_1g_nand.dtb" device tree?

docooler You can't use 1024x768 with current kernel on Amlogic. The issue you are experiencing is due to a bug in Kodi free_scale implementation. I can't help much more now (mobile only) but you can try running these commands (and reboot):
fw_setenv outputmode 1080p60hz
fw_setenv hdmimode 1080p60hz

Krypton 17.6 is available only for 17 hours, why so impatient? Here is full changelog, nothing important for Amlogic: Comparing 17.5-Krypton...17.6-Krypton · xbmc/xbmc · GitHub
I will be able to resume working on LE next week.

To little space to unpack img.gz or a bug in a specific build. Normally updating with img.gz should work just fine.
