You need to use remote.conf from original Android firmware. Please read the first post, there is information how to do this. If you don't have a ZIP file with Android firware for your box and you run LE from SD card, you can use instructions from this post: LibreELEC

as far as I can tell keycode translations are handled in "LinuxInputDevices.cpp"

Some time ago after a lot of consideration I decided not to modify key maps in kernel nor in Kodi. You should modify your remote.conf to make the power button work - look for "142" in the last column and change it to "116". Or you can wait for the next build as I have prepared a script that will automatically remap buttons from custom remote.conf.

This is always an issue with these cheap devices: there is no kernel source code.

Sorry, I have no box with that kind of display and don't know how they work. The only suggestion I can give is that you search Kodi/OE/LE forums to see if this can be done easily. The fact that you were able to turn it off in Kodi settings hints at possibility of showing some information on that display.

Thank you for the dmesg. It looks like Android firmware is using the latest eMMC driver after all. You saved me some time but now I have to think about other solutions. I'll keep you posted.

It's eMMC driver that fails and not NAND, actually. Have you tried running MXQ and HD18Q builds? They have some differences in device tree, that might help. Can you also get me dmesg from Android?

PatrickJB Poida About power LED I have 2 "all-black" boxes: V3_1 and HTC-MXQ-V4 and power LED works well.

It is possible to add many LED configurations to the driver but I need to know which pin should I switch to make the LED work - and without source code from manufacturer this is close to impossible.

Does the LED switch at all for you with the most recent build?

Yes, there is: serial console. You need to have a USB-TTL converter and connect it to UART pins on board.

AuXBoX: If you want to disable CEC at powering on, you can execute fw_setenv cecconfig cec0. This will have the same effect as disabling CEC in Android.

Don't worry about sh: write error: Bad address that comes out when executing. Does audio turn on after this?

As far as I remember Superceleron installs TWRP. You should be able to flash *-update.zip in TWRP from NAND release.
