It turns out that it doesn't matter that much. If you have different stock partition layout you should use installtointernal twice (second and next after reboot) and that way your box will have the new layout.
In Git you can have a tag that points to a commit not belonging to any branch.
The purpose of libreelec-7.0 branch in my repo is for release commits. I don't like to have all the devel mess public.
As I said before, my development workflow includes rebasing and fixing commits down the way. 2016-10-11-devel tag is only for reference for people who want to build themselves. You should expect that it may not be the base for future relase build.

OK Houston we've got a bug! Analog audio no longer works I have to switch to S/PDIF to get any sound from my TV and then I can't get any audio to my old amp for music!
Can you try creating an empty file named asound.conf, put it in Configfiles folder and reboot?

Updated to above version and lost "Turn On" box via remote.
Went back to .005 and "Turn On" via remote worked.
All Black MXQ (This particular box always worked on the HD18Q Versions as opposed to another All Black MXQ which works with the MXQ Arm versions.)
The development version has an option to configure Power button behaviour in Kodi menu (Settings -> System -> Power saving). You probably want to set it to "Suspend" as some boxes have trouble waking up by remote control from "Power off".
If it's stuck there you probably don't have a proper device tree. Do you run from SD card or internal?

I think I know the reason - dtb always updates to "standard" one for 1Gigabit devices. I will fix that today evening.

Meanwhile if you boot from SD card, replace dtb.img manually using your computer.
@all I would like to publish one more update for S805 before switching to Krypton development. As there is one change that requires long-run testing (by that I mean watch a few films) and I'm unable to do this I need to request you to test a development build and report.

Just tested your latest development build LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0-devel-20161011222808-r23378-g763b90a on both M18 (S905) and Mini M8S II (S905X) Android TV box using mSD.
Didn't notice too much of difference on M18 but playback of 4K VP9 as well as 4K H264 videos are now possible on Mini M8S II (on 1080p TV). Unlike build provided by afl1 couple of days ago, CEC is also working.

Some latest Beelink boxes have a WiFi chip that is not (yet) supported. There is source code available but it needs some work to be compiled. No harm, I simply think that keeping discussion in relevant thread makes it easier for others to find. 
I have mxq pro 4k and mx905 4k. On both SD install working and both failed to boot after installtointernal. Personally I prefer LE on nand, but creating sd for nand install is too complicated for s905.
Actually this is a thread for S805 builds and not S905... have you tried running the command for the second time after a failed boot?
I just tried 7.0.2.007 on MXQ pro 4k. Run from SD card all good. installtointernal from ssh all OK. Reboot and black screen. Then i made SD for NAND install. Progress stop at 1/3, device reboot and start over. I am wondering if there are the same sha1_check like the last S805 image?
Yes. Thanks for pointing this out, I may also want to change this for S905. On the other hand, I still recommend using SD card first and I'm wondering whether I should drop NAND installation ZIP completely.
mmpp Thanks for reporting but the issue is in S805 build, not S905. From your devices you can try MK808B+.
This was more a request to keep discussion in relevant thread.
My builds have not been ported from Odroid C2. The fact that it is the same platform only means that I was able to get Kodi working easier thanks to C2 build. Other then that I spend countless sleepless nights on hardware enablement, I don't consider my builds a port.
That said I have no immediate plans to make Docker work, there are more important things to do - like Krypton builds.
