Thank you everyone for testing the devel build. In 2016-10-18 build removed hardware demux patch and added a change to allow playing very high bitrate videos.

Now let's try another dev build that has both: hardware demux buffering and a fix for high bitrate stuttering. I believe it also has no video/audio sync issue but I leave it for you to evaluate:

People with "back key" issue can also try this, I think I finally fixed it - forgive me as I'm still learning sed.

Are you sure that the HDMI device selection will output in parallel to the optical SP-DIF ?

I am not sure that's why I ask you to try. If it didn't work with .007, it won't work with .008 - there was no change in how audio works. I will try to add SPDIF output for the next devel build but you (or someone else) will have to test and tell me if it works.

PGPfan It should say LE, I copied instructions from my OE thread at FreakTab.

You should download that file and copy it to SD card in addition to files for NAND installation. By doing so your box will boot recovery from SD card and not internal flash and this should prevent "invalid signature" error from appearing. Flashing to internal shouldn't brick the box as it replaces only kernel and system partitions - you will still be able to boot into recovery and flash a different firmware.

"Back" button bug is fixed in that one, if someone wants a fix right now.

Actually driver for most AmPak devices is available, AP6234 as well. It's a matter of adding it to a build.

That said I can't help you as I don't make S802 builds.

The same things as with previous test build apply:

What happens when you select HDMI output? Does optical work at that point?

zbigzbig20 I can't add these drivers to a generic build as they cause every other device not to boot. You should keep using Wrxtasy's builds or official for Kodi Krypton. It might be possible to add them as a module that you need to load manually but I don't have WP2 to test.

gxl device trees are for S905X.
gxbb device trees are for S905.

Ferguson Ariva 4K has a Broadcom WiFi chip. Try 1GB_100Mbit first.

You have a different remote control. We use a script that replaces key codes in original remote.conf to make it work in LE without (much) editing. I added 2 new codes to remap in .008 which incorrectly replaced 158 by 18 because of matching 15 in 158.

I will start posting mine soon, I want to have it sorted out properly git-wise.

My firmware is aimed to work on most S905/X devices. I have no list of boxes that work because except for officialy supported devices I own only 1 S905 and 1 S905X box.
