There is a way but you will have to compile it yourself and play a bit with bind-mounting folders.
Or if you wait a bit I will post a new build this weekend.

PatrickJB I think previous generation Amlogic chips - including S805 - are very good in terms of video playback. Except for 10-bit encoding - which are very rare - they can play everything I throw at them and with CPU power is enough to handle everything you need in LE. And when you look for speed, S802 and S812 are faster than S905 or S912.
Does anyone know if the wifi/bluetooth drivers are supported in libreelec yet? a certain site has the mxIII II on a flash sale....
No drivers for Aigale chips because no one is working on them.
mylles For best playback for now stick to Jarvis.
I got a hint from Kwiboo on translating NEC codes to LIRC: Converting Yamaha-NEC infrared codes to LIRC format | nobbin
The other way round: first write image file to SD card, then you can play with device trees: device tree is in dtb.img file that you will find on the card.
PLASMA Read the first post carefully and you will know that most of the times there doesn't have to be a device-specific device tree. For 90% of the boxes the trees provided simply work.

OK. I have tried many times now. It does not get any further. Funny thing is that i dont even have to plug the toothpick in for the box to try to boot from SD card. As long as the sdcard is in there it tries to boot but does not get any further than the libreelec logo
This looks like a device tree issue. Try other trees, it's as simple as replacing single file on SD card - dtb.img - with device tree of your choice.

kszaq just need your thoughts on an all Black MXQ S805 which i believe has Hardware Failure due to the following symptoms.
The box is stock with no addons installed. Just network library.
This box was on .006 NAND when it started to freeze at random and now it freezes 10 out of 10 times when browsing library movies on my network. I ran debug and took logs.
The logs are .004 as i went back to .004 to test if it was the update. I also did a fresh SD Card install to test on .004 & .006 with the same freezing issues as running from NAND. There seems to be big spikes in cpu usage just before it freezes and becomes un responsive.
I am putting out here as this is the behaviour when hardware fails.
MXQ, board number: 'AM_MXQ_A 20150825
Has this box behaved normally before? If yes, I would blame hardware. I looked at your logs and there seems to be nothing odd. It would be good if you can install back Android and run some stress tests with it to confirm whether it's hardware that's failing.
CGarces A PR switching to LIRC will not be merged, due to reasons from previous post. I have everything ready to switch except for the remote.conf -> lirc translation.
My builds don't use LIRC for IR, they use amremote. Recently LE master has switched to LIRC for the WeTek Hub, you can have a look - it needs changes in build system and device tree.
I'm afraid my builds will keep using amremote instead of LIRC until I find time to write a utility to translate remote.conf to LIRC config. Or someone does it for us.
Example:
I have no idea how one translates to another.
I upgraded to 7.90.008. May be im too noob for digital usb audio and someone would explain me.
My amplifier with DAC (Peachtree Nova 125SE) can receive audio signal from all digital inputs included USB. LE (LibreELEC) is on Wetek Core.
Junoxe you have posted in wrong thread. This thread is for 7.0.2.008 build for S905 boxes. You seem to have issues with official LE build for WeTek Core - you should post your bug report here: LibreELEC
Please do so and you will get help from more developers.
As a side note: I think that USB Audio won't work on WeTek Core because of lacking one Kodi patch...
If i use a configurable switch where i can limit the port to 100mbit, i can use any of the four p200_2g_1gbit device trees successfully, but well.. limited to 100mbit.I'm no real network pro, so this is very confusing for me. Any hints?
It seems like your box has faulty Ethernet port. I have no issues with full Gigabit speed on any Gigabit-capable box.
Strangely the issues continues to happen when it runs from SD card, Should I attach logs? When this was running 005 it worked fine, but has had this issue on 007 and 008.
If no one else has this issue it probably isn't worth looking into as the box itself is a pain in the ass to be honest.
Your box has a Realtek WiFi chip. Do you use a device tree with "Realtek" in the name?
envagyok The test file is exactly 1 bit different if compared to gxbb_p200_1G_1Gbit.dtb (at hex 0x6164). The difference is so minor because the fix has been in part already included in .008.
I no longer have MiniMX but I remember it had very weak WiFi reception, whereas being close to router it maxed at ca. 50 Mbps.

Hey,Was first checking to make sure it wasn't a known issue, couldn't find it elsewhere on the forum etc.
Basically device boots and functions correctly, however when unpowered and the powered again you need to manually connect to the wifi network, including inputting the password.
As far as i can see the network is stored correctly within /storage.
Logs attached.

It seems like there is an issue with internal memory of your box, I've never seen alike errors in the log. Can you reproduce the issue if you run from SD card?

On LibreELEC (Krypton) v7.90.008 ALPHA – LibreELEC is:
"Fix Amlogic default audio device patch to allow external USB audio devices"Does it mean i can use asynchronous USB as audio source?
7.0.2 shows USB source in Settings/System/Audio but there is no sound.
This is not 7.90.008 alpha build, that changelog doesn't apply here. All my builds allow USB audio. But you should note that with Kodi Jarvis there are issues with USB Audio if you want to use it for video playback. Audio-only should work.
1) Internal DVB support in your LE 7 and LE 8 builds is not functional.
True.
2) Work on internal DVB support is not continuing due to issues with newer kernel.
I have only tried to integrate driver from Vitaly (VitMod) in the latest kernel, I don't have sources that I can amend. Yes, the driver doesn't work because of updates in kernel.
3) If 1 & 2 are true, is it the same for KI Plus, KII Pro and Wetek boxes? (I believe these are the only boxes with internal tuners - not counting the tightly controlled Geniatech/Mygica boxes)
Internal tuners in WeTek Play 2 are fully supported in Wrxtasy's LE 7.0 builds and official LE 8.0 builds.
The system is certainly not underpowered. Stuttering may be caused by the new approach that is used to video decoding and I think that frame rate automation is not working well yet with the new decoder.
Tyler Durden I use WeTek Hub as my main device. I also have an Odroid C2 and two other boxes for development that I can't recommend buying. By "can't" I mean I don't think they are good enough to be recommended.

So, my question is : is there a future (close) build which may restore this or should I try an older build ?
Yes, there is a development version that solves this issue: 2016-10-28
@troggy Yes, it works. You may need to redownload it and reinstall as I've recently compiled it statically to work across releases.
