GitHub updated. This build doesn't have PR10887 as it doesn't work well with automatic framerate turned on. This build has "pure" Kodi 17 beta 6 with 1 fix regarding playback for S805: aspect ratio tracking for H.264 streams.

USB Burning Tool needs full internal memory image and is device-specific. I don't think there will ever be a build that you can flash in USB Burning Tool.

redger Amlogic H/W decoder has issues with decoding SD MPEG2 videos. There *might* be an improvement in Krypton, we'll see.

Regarding custom EDID - currently there's no way to achieve that but you may want to take a look into something doing similar thing: disp_cap_hack

rx5670 I will stand by my statement that firmware on your box does not work properly with standard Amlogic suspend/poweroff procedure implemented in kernel. If the vendor uses some non-standard way of suspending, I welcome them - or you - to submit patches that fix suspend in LibreELEC.

Like mmpp said: it's up to vendor's firmware to handle IR wakeup, CEC wakeup commands and LED colour when suspended. Every box's firmware that I have implements this properly and I have many "no-name" cheap boxes.

Unfortunately my builds do nor have LIRC support unless you have an external IR adapter. LIRC support might be added at some point but now there's an issue with powering on the box after using meson-ir driver.

If you flash stock Android image prior to restoring your backup, it should work. Restoring full factory image is important as you also need Android-build-specific device tree.

You can install TVHeadend as an addon. It's available from official LE repository.

You should keep in mind that because of an older kernel version that we have to use for Amlogic devices much less DVB tuners are supported compared to RPi builds.

honolulu1 Rufus should be able to format the card but you may need to use a card reader. Before spending your money maybe you could try using computer with built-in reader from some friend of yours? I remember that when some time ago I tried to use a phone as a card reader it refused access to extra SD card partitions.

Can you please try 7.0.2.008 build? There was a change in AP6212 firmware that might have broken something. Unfortunately I do not have any S905+AP6212 box to test and no one complained before but it's worth giving a try.

GWR From the short piece of the log you posted it looks that the driver is loaded properly and your WiFi chip is AP6212. If it connects and gets IP address - the driver is working. Remember that some boxes have very weak WiFi antennas and while you were able to connect, you might not be able to transfer any data if received signal quality is low.

Don't worry about "CN" country code in the log - this one is from chip configuration file and is replaced later by cfg80211 to match your contry.

I have added a workaround that might make the driver finally work correctly.

The only thing we don't have to get S912 working is libMali.so for fbdev, like said many times before. Without it we can't render GUI. Everything else works. As soon as fbdev libs for S912 are released, there will be S912 available.
