New DVB driver for WP2 and temperature measurement will be included in upcoming LE 7.90.009 official alpha release. I would build a release with WP2 drivers but my buildserver is down.

For WP2 you need a special build with WeTek drivers included. I don't think afl1's build has them.

The file in /flash is copied from Android, the one in /tmp is a temporary file created by remapping script. If you want to edit it, you should copy it to /storage/.config and make changes there. It has higher priority than file in /flash.

afl1 How did you get media_build to work? When V4L2 is compiled in kernel image - and that's a condition to have hardware decoding work - media_build modules won't work. Have you tried using any of them?

Latest Jarvis devel build has Mali r6p1.
Furture Jarvis build will have r5p1 back.

This is a little over my head due to my limited knowledge in what has happened here using a 64bit chip.

I believe there is a memory leak somewhere when compiling for aarch64 - incorrect pointer size or something. I'm not competent enough to track it down - and I've been trying to for some time - so a switch to 32-bit userspace seems like a good move. Moreover we get improved addon compatibility.

Addon repository will be switched in a next build to my server because official LE addons have not been bumped yet. Meanwhile you can download incompatible addons manually from Index of /addons/8.1/S905/arm/

Gasoliner Broken CEC may be due to bump to libCEC 4.0. I will look into fixing it before a next build.

I do care about picture quality and IIRC I've read somewhere that Amlogic devices in general output video signal with limited colour range. That might be changeable but I don't know how (yet).

markrudling This looks like an issue with EDID negotiation. While I cannot offer you a fix, I can give you a workaround:

• Connect your box to a port where you're getting that rich disp_cap list.
• Enter these commands over SSH:

Changes from previous dev build:

• AP6212 firmware reverted as issues were reported with updated one
• a/v sync and demux buffering patch modified (once again)
• maybe something else I don't remember now

I think this might become .010 build if no big issues are found.

Is it with only one video? If yes, can you upload a sample so that I can check with my devices?

If with all videos you should also check it in Android. If it's the same, I would blame faulty hardware.

I haven't seen that with my devices. Is it the same with 7.0 builds?

The bug cannot be related to PR10887 as it's not in yet. Kernel framerate automation does not work with amlvideo driver used in Krypton and that needs to be fixed. PR10887 tries to address other a/v sync/stuttering issues.

There will be 41 sec stutter with 23.976fps videos, this has not been fixed yet.

Resolutions other that shown in Kodi are not supported by current kernel.

There will only be a fix for drivers from 3.14 that should work but are not due to Amlogic changes.

We are evaluating whether media_build can be integrated at all for Krypton builds.

PVR plugins will be back very soon. We only have to wait for official LE repo to be updated.
