This looks like a bug in LE Settings and/or Kodi. I'll pass it to other developers. I also noticed that on my primary device the notification is not shown, thank you for finding the reason.

AFAIK not available. You'd have to compile it yourself.
Nothing was forced, my builds use standard LE update system, only URL for checking updates is custom.
I don't know the exact internals of LE auto-update but it should work pretty much like on "official" devices.

What can i do?
Download a previous build (e.g. in tar format), unpack it, replace kernel.img on your SD card with either KERNEL or kernel.img from the archive and replace SYSTEM with SYSTEM from the archive.
If internal, boot a working build from SD card and do this:
mkdir -p /tmp/system
mount /dev/system /tmp/system
cp /flash/SYSTEM /tmp/system/SYSTEM
dd if=/flash/kernel.img of=/dev/boot bs=1MReboot, upgrade done.

fdef After upgrading to my build you should have a new file called boot.ini.update. Remove boot.ini and rename boot.ini.update to boot.ini. This will make your system bootable again.
Things change and I no more have free time to release builds "full time". I will be contributing towards improving future Leia builds.

zed85 A revised 8.2.2.3 build is now available with all changes in Broadcom driver reverted. It should work the same as in 8.2.2.2.
Ozkhan1 Moonlight is available but I don't know whether it runs fine, no way to check it.
