DVR playback of 1080P content was effortless - until now.
What does "until now" mean? What changed?

kszaq do you have the time to help with this? thanks
aml-vnc doesn't support mouse movements. For keyboard you have to sent a few keystrokes until it starts working.
zed85 Perhaps. But there is no "slow" dtb for S912 yet.
How to resolve problem?

The VIM2 is supported since 8.1.10-rc1 build. DTV board is also supported!

You don't understand me.
Khadas VIM2 with DVB board is supported since 8.1.10-rc1 build. Drivers are included in system image by default.
I only told you that you cannot install DVB driver addons, they are meant only for 8.9 builds.
bit4freak The issue was not resolved in Krypton and will probably never be. Kodi developers no longer update Krypton and I doubt any of us has knowledge to backport huge Leia changes.
fw_setenv is a command to manipulate bootloader env variables, there is no "list" of commands. If you want to see what values are stored, use fw_printenv.
fw_setenv cecconfig cec0 disables CEC in bootloader and in Android. IIRC it doesn't modify CEC behaviour in LibreELEC.
To turn it back on, use fw_setenv cecconfig cec17.
You can also reset all u-boot env variables to their default values by running fw_setenv upgrade_step 1 - this is an Amlogic-specific command, it will also disable booting from SD and USB for devices without native dual-boot.
If you have Android on internal memory, boot to Android and disable CEC there.
If you don't, try using this command: fw_setenv cecconfig cec0
maha Try using reboot update.
maha Simply insert SD card with LE9 and reboot. After running LE from SD/USB you box will look for an OS on SD card and USB drives before booting from internal.
For the LAN issue, please login over SSH and execute these commands:
This will reset your network configuration (including WiFi passwords) and should fix LAN not working after a reboot.
If it doesn't work, force loading Ethernet kernel module:
doggyofone If you remove SD card prior to booting from USB it won't impact your LE on SD at all. Your box should still be able to boot from SD after you re-insert it.
LuRcH One more question: what power adapter do you use? Can it deliver at least 5V/2A? Can you try using a different power adapter and/or disconnect USB drivers that you may have connected?
I will play videos in the loop overnight to see if I can reproduce.
Do you have a serial console cable to look at u-boot log?
Perhaps you can try using a different SD card?
For starters, Kodi log is not enough, see my signature for instruction how to collect all logs.
On the other hand, Le Potato is a pretty much standard gxl_p212 board and 8.2 builds are really stable on other S905X devices, so that kind of issue should not be there.
Are you using any kind of heatsink?
