Although I have used the sbc builds of Libreelec for years, I know nothing about the generic build for PC's.
Is it actually the OS like the sbc versions?
Does it support a mouse or touch screen or does it need a dedicated remote?
Thanks!

@chewitt Are the test images that you refer to the ones in the LibreELEC 9.0.1 builds for S905 (semi official) thread or somewhere else?
I haven't seen any of the team acknowledge these audio issues on the Wetek Hub or Odroid C2. They seem quite easy to reproduce.

@AndrewZ I agree. Coreelec seems rock solid for me on the Wetek Hub. My only complaint is a 1/2 second delay for video to resume after skipping forward or backward. I think it may have to do with how they fixed resync issues with HEVC.

I have had the same issues on a Wetek Hub with 9.0.0 and 9.0.1.
1) no audio with AAC 2.0 unless stereo upmix is turned on. AAC 5.1 did work without stereo upmix.
2) “corrupted” audio (deep and slow) after playing a video on AAC audio. Pass through is still fine.
I am starting to get the feeling that issues on the Amlogic devices are not a priority for Libreelec. I just learned of Coreelec and that they focus on the Amlogic devices. I can confirm that these audio issues are not present with the Wetek Hub runnung Coreelec 9.0.1 . However I do find an issue with Coreelec. Maybe I can't have my cake and eat it too?

I have been having this problem with both of my players (Wetek hub and Odroid C2) since I moved from jarvis to krypton. My videos are mostly ripped dvd's using makemkv, some are compressed with handbrake using roku2 optimized setting. The files are accessed across my network and stored on a synology nas but the problem will happen even on a locally attached usb thumb drive or hard drive. If I step back the video often (not always) stalls and displays 100 in a black circle. The video will resume after about 30 seconds. I do not have the problem stepping forward. I am running LibreElec 8.2.1 and have had the problem on all versions with krypton. I never had the problem on any version with jarvis.
Here is a log file from the wetek hub where it happened playing the video Battleship. hastebin
Although not currently, I have tried using an advancedsettings.xml like this
- <advancedsettings>
- <cache>
<buffermode>1</buffermode>
<memorysize>157286400</memorysize>
<readfactor>20</readfactor>
</cache>
</advancedsettings>
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

jamm What IR extender you use?
With a little more testing the problem does not exist in 7.9.008 alpha but does exist in 7.9.010 alpha and all versions of 8 that I have tried. Looks like lirc was implemented in 7.9.009. Coincidence?

codesnake The IR extender that is included with the hub. I have two of them and tried them both.

I am convinced that there is a bug relating to the IR extender for the wetek hub on all LE 8.X.X versions where the range is limited to 1ft or 30cm.. The IR extender works fine in all versions LE 7.X.X and Android that I have tried. I have never been happy with the wetek IR remote so I am going to move on to either bluetooth or RF.
If anybody else has this problem I would be glad to provide any information about my hub to help.

I forgot to mention that I have an extra IR extender that I have swapped out with the same results. So I have ruled that out.

I am having a problem with the IR extender on the Wetek hub in LibreElec offical 8.0.2.1 I have also tried two different 8.X.X community builds and have the same problem.
With the ir extender plugged in I only get a range of about 1ft or 30cm. Without the ir extender plugged in the internal ir receiver works ok.
This is with a completely fresh flash to a SD card the problem is present on the first boot.
The ir extender works ok in the latest Wetek android (WEOS 3.1), LibreElec 7.0.2, and 7.1.0.
I am using the wetek ir remote and a directv remote with mce profile.
