yes 100%

installed from USB stick instead of SD card. Could not get the box to pick up the SD card (despite the fact that it did the first time when the install failed).

OK - Got it now!!

Tried various tools to format the memory card - ended up using a USB stick instead - worked no problem!

Not quite sure about your step to wipe data and factory reset as that just puts me back where I was.

However watching live TV streaming from TVheadend as we speak.

should have said - i tried that too but I get this:

E:failed to mount /sdcard (no such file or directory)

is my SD card not formatted correctly - it's Fat 32 and has the following

LibreELEC-WeTek_Core.arm-8.0.2-update.zip

factory_update_param.aml

recovery.img

What do I need to do to make the box see the card?

I unzipped LibreELEC-WeTek_Core.arm-8.0.2.zip onto a 4gb FAT32 memory card - then followed the instructions on the download page, inserting tooth pick then switching on.

Since then I've tried factory reset and pretty much anything to get this box back to life.

Followed the NAND install instructions - ended up with the old problem:

can't access tty: job control turned off

I found another thread which advised removing the following code:

--wipe_data

--wipe_cache

I did this and tried again.

Now when i boot with toothpick I only get to the Android recovery screen and have a message at the bottom

E: Cannot Load Volume /misc!

I've tried all the menu options from here and am completely stuck.

Is my box dead?

Ok so I downloaded this

LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2e.img.gz

Then this:

gxl_p212_2g.dtb (assuming this is correct)

which i renamed dtb.img and copied to root of sd card

I also copied remote.cfg from the android setup to /storage/.config (although the FAQs calls for remote.conf so i'm not sure about this step.

Remote control still doesn't work - any tips?

Also I thought perhaps I needed to add a device tree to the SD card however I read the instructions and it details replacing a file called dtb.img - No file exists on my card.

Hi,

Just installed LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2e-C2.img.gz on my T6 S905x (I think this is correct).

It ran fine from SD card but remote doesn't work - I was able to plug in a bluetooh mouse and get it going.

I read the FAQ about getting the remote.conf file for the remote however there is not such file it is remote.cfg on mine. I followed the instruction anyway and renamed the file but to no avail.
