3 out of my 4 Argon cases had problems and i have stopped using them, only one without problems is the one with my Pi3B in it. The others was bought for my Pi4's.

Out of pure curiosity I powered up my Rpi4-8gb running LE11.01 then powered up a USB connected 2TB external HD GPT /ntfs system and no issues to report. Could the drive size be a factor?
I have Pi4 with 4x6TB running without any issues, even one with atm 8x4TB that on occasions runs with 16x4TB, havent seen any problems with any of them yet.

I'm using NTFS-formatted HDD's (4-8 atm) on several Pi4 without any issues, but maybe i'm just lucky.
Most people use Windows at home & at work so a fix would probably be wanted (and needed) by those that do run into problems.

I have several Armor cases and have put on a 50 mm 12V fan connected to 5V GPIO, cant hear it but my overclocked Pi4's never gets over 40C.

Im running LE 12 aarch64 on one of my Pi4's, its working fine.
-
On my other Pi4 with 4x6TB i have occasional messages on boot as i boot from an ssd connected to one of the USB2-ports and LE probably assumes the bootdisk should be attached to a USB3-port but it just delays the boot for a few seconds, otherwise no problems.

My test have been up for just over 24 hrs now with several on/off & reboots, right now im deleting & moving files to & from the 8 drives from other windows pc's trying to provoke any failures, no luck so far...
-
I'm doing this just as a test.

I will probably set up another Pi this weekend with LE 11.0.1 on SSD and 8x4TB WD Red, if that works ok i'll hook up another 8x4TB WD Red. All disks will be NTFS.

I never did see the point dragging a Windows ntfs formatted drive to a Linux party. Asking for trouble. Windows users find it difficult to “cut the chord”.
Well, maybe because most people use windows, at home & at work, Linux desktop has a market share of less than 1,5%.

Connected via USB, yes. No hub, and i boot from SSD, no slow sdcard. And Pi original power supply.
-
I have 4 (4x6TB) NTFS disks connected to one of mi Pi4's and i have had zero problems so far (not even on nightlys before LE11).
-
All my Pi 4 boots from SSD, much faster than any sd-card.

Tested some more files today, Jellyfish 120Mbps played perfect.
