That's odd, my apple tv sound on original firmware is fine through the HDMI on OpenELEC I have no sound at all.

OpenELEC for Apple TV 1gen didn't work for me I think this was because I didn't have a broadcom HDMI card.
And I still don't have a card. so is there any way that libreelec could work please and support apple boxes without the card too. ? I don't mind being a beta tester.
