Ok fixed, thanks for your file that I have used as reference to do a merge.

remote.conf.txt is the one that I'm using right now and remote.stock.txt the original one from Android firmware.

The key mapping was inside a custom_begin structure... I have removed also the second custom_begin part.

Note that I don't know exactly the meaning of that structure but it just works for me.

Fell free to improve my merge with any comment about the second custom_begin

With you file some keys works... but the mapping is wrong.
For example OK key mute the volume or key "6" is vol+

What means "your remote factory code seems to be 1dcc"? can I get some information from my current android firmware?

Place any zip file on the SD card and use the Backup & Restore tool to force the reset into recovery mode.

See some screenshot there, but remember that you only need a dummy zip

After 2 reboots the system is working, except for the remote control.

I'm building one aarch64 image using the main branch.

I get the following error

I have fixed the error with sudo apt-get install gcc-multilib but I don't know if is the correct approach (I'm not a skilled developer).

I really need the 32 bit c libraries provided by gcc-multilib or something must be changed/patched on the make files for aarch64?

The Docker add-on is not available for WeTeK Play/Core which use an older (too old) Linux kernel.

It just a minor back-port that must be adapted to the AmLogic Kernels or is something more complicated?

I have buy a clone of this s805 boxes

And tested with one SD img. LibreELEC-S805.HD18Q.arm-7.0.1.4.img.gz

-Wifi works ok
-IR remote not works (I need to replace the config file from stock ROM)

But I have one problem. Sometimes my 2.5" external HDD get disconected and conected again after few seconds.

This only happends on LibreElec not on Android.

How can be fixed? is maybe something related to the voltage regulator? I need to compile a new kernel or test another version diferent than HD18Q?

Looks the same box than NEXBOX A85 based on the description by  jnnuzzo, the PBC has one sticker with MXQ-S805-V3.2
