Currently with 3.14 kernel, playback is very smooth for 4K HDR videos. It seems that there is a problem with some parameters assigned to the HDR output that seems that newer kernel is fixed.
Do you know if with these new builds there is hardware support from HEVC, AVC?

I’m using s912 minix u9 with coreelec. I’m interested to testing this version but if I’ve read correctly before use it i have to restore original firmware.
I dont find any post about which features are supported on s912. Please anyone can give me some comments of what is or isn’t working?

Yes, you can disble it in Libreelec but in uboot is still activated.
As I read in other forum, to solve the problem we have to disable it in uboot.

In other hand, I also use dtb specific for minix u9 release but wrxtasy. It is based on gxm_q200.
If I flash wrong uboot, it is possible an easily recover of box?

I'm very intersting to solve HDMI CEC problem also in Minix U9-H reported in this forum Kodi steals CEC device source when powering off. i think that the minix bug is the same than is solved in posted u-boot.
It is possible to adapt this u-boot to run in Minix U9-H?
Maybe if we disbled HDMI-CEC from uboot, it would solve the problem.

I've tested all this commits made by graham8 and samnazarko in linux kernel for OSMC and I can say that are working. I've tested some HDR 10bits sample in a clean CoreELEC installation and autoswitch Color Depth and gamma is working like you autoswitch patch in last realease.

wrxtasy I like your builds because are the most stable tested over S912.
Are you working in adapt your special patches to LibreELEC 9? i tested some nightly builds of LE and CE and...well works well but the most important lack of all this builds is NO AutoHDR switch.
I've applied OSMC-patch for auto color/chroma switch, but in CE not working properly and in LE 9, works but the system is less responsive than CE.

Still not sure what is up with the external subtitles issue. Seems a AML modded Kodi bug. I will cross check with OSMC Kodi.

It has improved audio, especially for DTS-HRA and now outputs HDR using a 4:2:2,10bit Chroma and bit depth for better compatibility across a whole range of displays, especially 4:2:2 only projectors.

Maybe is not the right topic but it is very active thanks to developer wrxtasy .
In current libreelec 9 and OpenELEC 8.96 automatic switch to HDR 10bits is broken and wrxtasy is the only build that works pretty well. Man is there some workaround for nightly builds to get working hdr 10bit automatic? Is not possible use to custom kernel in libreelec 9?

wrxtasy , i don't understand why your autoswitch modification for HDR/10bits is not implemented in libreelec master branch.
Is no possible to port to kodi leia 18? I'm want to test leia 18, but the lack of 10bits autoswitch support is a problema.
