I'm building new version but I'm not sure how to build it (seems image is aarch64 but I can build only arm). Confused (again). Probably new build will not happen.

Do you have any idea why this fix isn't available in official builds? I v seen on github that it may fix cec for a few and break it for others who have cec working fine
I think your conclusion is correct - fix something, broke something. Even if this libcec version works for you and fixes your issue maybe can brake thousands of other users.
Just ping me on new le version and I will build this special one.

I think with last firmware cleanups zd1211 firmware was removed somehow.

If this works could it be added to the USB-SD creator menu. i.e. Restore SD Card.
In this case you can get disk which doesn't have any partition - whole disk is a partition. And I don't like that.
I already have correct format functionality for Creator just doesn't know when I will finish it.
Use H2testw program to test the card. Or some similar program.

Maybe some downloaded source files were different in your case? Could you run in your LibreELEC folder
Codefind sources/ -type f | xargs sha256sum >shasums.txtand attach the file in the post. I'm curious what the compare result with mine would be

Cec still doesn't work in 8.1.0 ..
Because libcec version is still the same.
Should I build "my" version again... Sure. Building... Available in next few hours (or in a day).
