This was possibility for ages.

Run this commands in terminal and post links you get. After you see error "Failed to start samba SMB daemon".

cat /storage/.config/samba.conf | pastebinit
journalctl -xa --no-pager | pastebinit
systemctl status smbd -l | pastebinit
systemctl status nmbd -l | pastebinit

There is already 8.2.0 version

I think this is the same as last time: LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-8.2.0.1-libcec-1a8dc6c-commit-d9407d3.img.gz

Of course you can play hevc files. And this is the issue found too late: 8.2.0 on rpi2 or rpi3 freezes on hevc playback

Depends how you install on it. It should be using whole disk - storage partition is resized on first boot.
