If you got only this then I don't see what could be wrong. Grep other files for ac_cv_target to see why it is wrong.

You didn't execute command I posted in LE folder.

Run this command and post result you get (on Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002!).

You don't need to repack SYSTEM file. Just boot your system normally and then mount file over.

So, put your new libcurl.so.4.5.0 file to /storage and put this line in autostart.sh file

mount -o bind /storage/libcurl.so.4.5.0 /usr/lib/libcurl.so.4.5.0

and after reboot kodi will use your new file.

Isn't this addon in repository and needs to be installed manually?

No need to make separate sticks.

Did you checked kodi log? Or try also with evtest program (part of system tools addon I think).
