If with they means me then don't expect that. It is old discussion and things like this were not acceptable to include in any way. That's why this addon is somewhere lost in space without people knowing it exist 
I'm almost sure there will be mysql docker version available one day. You could use that then.

I don't know for your use case but for webserver you can use my LAMP addon which includes apache web server. It is unofficial addon of course.
setup I built it with had only a dumb monitor on the end make a difference

Where is no option? HDMI output should already be preselected by default.
Update: Just tested the image and hdmi sound is set by default. As it should be.

imx6 community is very small. And I know only few people who can actualy develop something for this platform. That's why you can't compare imx6 project with all others (like RPi which has daily development).
If the choice for using different/newer kernel was wrong then someone should tell that and I will revert/remove all the changes I have done in this area. Maybe then the image will finaly be stable.

4.6.0 is headless version - no graphics support.
Kernel 4.4 used in LE is GitHub - xbianonpi/xbian-sources-kernel at imx6-4.4.y. Also patches for Kodi Jarvis are from there.
Maybe someone should just try LE image with 3.14 kernel. But then this would be "just" the same as oe.

Well, you are wrong here - kernel version is different for imx6 project. What I want to bring in imx6 project is newer kernel v4+ to support docker easily. Also to support some extra hw. But all this brings other problems as well

Vpeter: !!! It looks like mysql already starting before kodi (at least I didnt see any errors in kodi logs, that it cant connect do MySQL).
If you are talking about my lamp addon then mysqld.service is wanted by kodi.service so should be started before. At least no one reported any error in this regards. The other option is that no one is actually using my addon

there is a build in odroid forum with LE 7.0
I uploaded service.web.lamp-7.0.20-Odroid_C2-aarch64.zip for 7.0 version too.
Still untested because still don't own this piece of hw

No, it was newer broken. Only need rebuild from time to time.
