It would be great if this could be fixed
Don't get your hope too high. For now the only real solution would be to use old 3.14 kernel. When LE 7.90.004 will be out I will build one such image. Maybe it will work, maybe it will not.

What is the purpose of this builds? Is this vanilla build or there is some your magic inside.
stevellion, this is completely different problem.
I have it done like this (with libreelec logo of course)
plymouth lite animated splash
Small change: I updated tslib.zip archive with one fix to show addon by default without manually enabling it on Krypton.
In addons packages xmlstarlet must be called in post_install() function and not in post_makeinstall_target() .
Thanks but what about moving the database to an external usb drive instead?
Maybe this path in config file?
Or atleast a backup plan to backup the database based on a schedule.
Maybe with cron and copying all the required files (or even whole folder) somewhere safe?
brownandi, I assume problem you have is with skin not the touchscreen itself?
Update: I installed the skin on normal system and power button really doesn't do anything. Seems something to report to the author of the skin.
how are we to handle LE updates once Krypton is released
I will rebuild the addon in next days for all projects. And when addon will not start I will rebuild it again
where are you adding the above config
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/http://service.web.lamp/mysqld.cnf
etails about the purpose of xdotool
I was using it with my Opera addon to minimize and maximize windows. And there are plenty of other use cases.
will this stop the audio from first location
Yes.
As a result we support BT audio only as an output device, not to receive.
Is this really true? Few months back it worked both way but maybe then it was removed?
Sems I missed the post here
To make storage partition ready I made one service which copies files from somewhere under /usr to /storage. When image is build extra files are copied to /usr. It was working fine when I was needing this.
I think you need to look for this option in BIOS?
