About cec not working on 3.14 - this are my cec seetings
I can manually turn off TV or leave screensaver kick in. After powering Tv back on CEC is still working.
Thanks for feedback. I will test this in next days and maybe, just maybe we would have luck to get a fix

Went back to the newer kernel version, rather have the playback issues than cec not fully working.
What playback issues? I though it works perfectly?
leripe, check settings for cec like action when tv powers off. I think default value is suspend which is not supported on cuboxi. Maybe some setings changes could help with this.
The drawback depends on your usage. For video playback there is no difference. But mine main idea for using newer kernel is docker support. Which works fine on this platform too.
This kernel issue we have can only be fixed by main kernel author. Who is btw doing great job to bring imx6 support in Kodi!
Because blank screen issue can't be fixed by me I decided to build also imx6 images based on Linux kernel 3.14 from solidrun. It has some drawbacks but the most important part (video playing) should work.

Images can be downloaded from here: Index of /imx6-solidrun-kernel-3.14/
Current version is LibreELEC-imx6.arm-7.90.007-sr-3.14.img.gz
thanks for the offer. Attached are the debug-logs kodi.log and kodi.old.log , I can't figure out anything, but maybe you can?
If you need any other logfiles just let me know.
Sorry for late reply.
I don't see anything in kodi log. Also have no idea where to look for this issue.
I assume you set larger fonts on Windows? Can you try LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator.Win32-dpi-test3.exe ?
My question was will this tool be able to wright such a setup from the downloaded image?
No, because it will always write whole image to your device. We don't support such configurations and users needs to do that manually.
There is nothing wrong if whole image is on sd card.
Please explain in little more detailes what you want. Because from your description I don't understand anything.
This tool only downloads and writes image to your USB stick or SD card.
I can not find the following two lines CONFIG_TOUCHSCREEN_USB_GENERAL_TOUCH = y
CONFIG_HID_MULTITOUCH = y
You need to enable them in file projects/RPi2/linux/linux.arm.conf like written in instructions.
I newer saw Rockchip support and I doubt there wil be OE/LE soon for it.
to a full backup, read option, it would be much better
What do you mean? To read USB stick/SD card back to an image - I have this option already on todo list.
When I click on "Download" in section 2 it ask for a file in my Downloads-folder, it seems like the download-function does not work (yet).
It only ask you for a folder where file will be saved. You can't set actual filename there. I think button also say "select folder" and not "select file".
And btw: this is one main function of the tool so would be little strange not to be working
It just writes image to selected USB stick or SD card and creates "install" media.
But writing this same image directly to hard drive is something I'm working too. Needs to check few more things first.
