Thanks for your reply.
I will be following your setup as per reply -
Do I need to setup NUC bios as per reply
See attachments NUC bios set up for S3,S4 & S5
Regards,
I didn't touch the NUC bios for my setup. The Harmony 650 remote performs all power on/off functions using macros. Pressing one button turns all your equipment on or off (for each mode).

I have two older NUC's running Libreelec. I control them using a Logitech Harmony 650 remote. My NUC's go into "suspend" mode rather than shutdown. I can control the power on and off function using my remote. Go to System / Settings / System / Power Saver and change shutdown function to "suspend". When you put the NUC into the suspend mode by hitting the remote's power OFF button, the NUC's LED will blink - indicating "suspend" mode. Note: If you have a power outage in your home, you will have to power on using the NUC's power button, but it will work with the remote after that. Note 2: You have to pay attention to the sequence used to turn all your equipment on. Some equipment will require the NUC be the last to turn on or else the HDMI handshake may fail and you'll get a black screen. Good Luck

Model number, processor type & number, memory and age would be helpful.

Recalbox includes Kodi. To get help with Kodi and WiFi, you must sign up with Kodi's Forum for support. Libreelec has nothing to do with your setup.

I provided the specs for the LE staff. They will tell you whether that old WIFI adapter is supported. Wait a while before going back to OE.

You might want to mention what "The box" is.

It depends how you use it. The Raspberry Pi's have their limitations. You should do some research before deciding. I chose to use Intel NUC's for my TV Room and Man Cave. It helps to use a wired gigabit network if you're into large local HD files.
You'll also want to consider using a remote control. I use the Logitech Harmony 650 for each of my Intel NUC's.

Thanks.
Raspberry Pi® Raspberry Pi 3 Model B is supported right?
Would it be the best solution?
It may be the cheapest solution but surely not the best

Can I enable F5 in Libreelec?
Are there drivers for this?
There is another recent thread about this subject. I'll find it and link it here. Libreelec does not contain Fn Key drivers as far as I know.
-
If Fn + F5 works under Windows but not Libreelec, then you have your answer.
-
Is it possible the Fn (laptop function keys) aren't active under Libreelec ? (no drivers)
-
For Server Name, you can try the Windows 10 IP address (192.168.??.??)
User name is not usually an entire email address

Does FN + left/right control the brightness when Kodi is running under Ubuntu & Windows ? I would think FN + left/right would be independent of the OS.
Edit: It seems there is an FN Key driver involved and it may not be compatible with all operating systems. Since Libreelec is not a true (full-size) operating system, it may not contain the FN Key drivers necessary to control brightness up/dn on your laptop.
