After I SSH in using Putty, exactly what should I do ? Step by step please. I'm not really sure how to find and edit my script. After I manage to edit it, is it automatically saved when I exit ?

Then maybe you could help me. How do I SSH in and remove the non-working script and replace it with a working one ? I am sort of lost once I SSH using Putty. I'm not sure what you mean by "I think xrandr changed it's options and if you add the hyphen to HDMI-1 it should work again."
Step-By-Step would be great

Here's the entire thread I posted back in 2019. Post #32 contains the script that worked for me. Unfortunately, it stopped working a few months later.

I had/have the same exact problem but with an Intel NUC. Turning it on from suspend produced no audio. I found out that if I toggled the refresh rate from 60.00 to 59.94, the audio returned. When asked to save 59.94, I said no to the user interface. Someone wrote a script for me over at the Kodi website and it worked for a while but it has since stopped working and I have to do the refresh rate toggling myself. I suspect it's a timing issue with the order the devices are turned on.

I guess I'm blind. I'm watching it on a Dell U2412M Monitor @ 60 Hz, 1920 X 1200 / 59.950 Hz using Media Player Classic - BE.

I watched it 3 times and saw no drops at all

I see at least 2 banned repos listed (Diamond & mbebe)

I bought a brand new Harmony 665 from Best Buy dot com for $59.99 with free delivery to have as a spare. After much research, the only other reasonably priced universal remote with Activities and Macros is the One For All Smart Control 8 (URC7880) which is $30 on Amazon.

Remaining stock is starting to skyrocket in price and looks to be selling out fast. Best Buy seems to have a decent amount in inventory at full list price.
I can't think of another brand of universal remotes that has the same features as Harmony. Are there any ?

Do you have a TV Cable Box (with surround sound) ?
Do you have a Surround Sound Receiver (AVR) or multi-channel amp ?
What device is producing sound for your external 5.1 usb soundcard ?
Does your TV have an optical audio output jack ?

I no longer have the game roms. Have you tried running these games with Windows ?
My i5 Intel NUC is 5 to 7 years old and has a completely different chipset than either of yours.

It's been about a year since I played Super Mario on my much older i5 NUC but the games played flawlessly as far as I remember.

The updated (fixed) addon is included down in the comments section of the github page above. There are two versions - make sure you install the correct one.

USTVGO is not a legitimate streaming site. Here is a short review:

I'm pretty sure there have been numerous discussions about using both hdmi outputs on the Pi 4b but you will have to search for them.

I would check to see if a newer firmware was ever released for the Sony that would affect 4K Passthrough.
Also be sure to read the tip to solve your problem I posted above
