Hello,
I have tried to update my MXIIIG-1G/8G by using the file LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2-MXIII-1G.img.gz from the OP and I am facing few issues.
Indeed in order to test the build, I have updated my bootloader to use the SD boot feature.
The box won't boot and display this error message:
Filesystem corruption has been detected!
To prevent an automatic repair attempt continuing,
press any key or power off your system within the next 120 seconds.
So, I have decided to update my internal installation directly by copying the file LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2-MXIII-1G.tar directly inside the folder /storage/.update/
The box boot fine but wired network doesn't work (DHCP won't get any IP, I tried to put an IP manually but no luck)
Wireless network is working fine, but I don't have good wifi reception from the box location.
I have open the box and take some pictures of the inside if this can help:
Currently, the only build that its working with my box is this one:
LibreELEC-MX3G.arm-7.0.1c.img.xz
(note that this build is booting well by using the SD boot feature and I can install it to NAND by using the .zip file from the same URL)
Demetris, do you think it will be possible to integrate the LAN drivers on your build? or make a new build for this kind of boxes?
Many thanks in advance!
At your box I would try this image LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2b-MXIII-PLUS.img.gz or .tar

You cant, i have to do it from source then others will complain that they cant power on from remote
Hi Demetris thank you for the answer. I will stick to the older version where there is no problem with shutting down the boxI

I have a MXIII-G too, for me DTS works using passthrough via the SPDIF cable. It does not work with HDMI.
Hi on my MXIII-G 2/8 works DTS audio on both SPDIF and HDMI , in audio data settings, setup audio card xxxx-HDMI output

Hello Demetris pls. my question 1,116
How can I edit the command on this versions ( 8.2.0 RC) so that the "power bututon" on the remote control opens the context menu and does not sleep?
Thank you for the info

Hi Demetris
version RC2 MXIII-plus works on my old box MXIII-G 2/8 well. I tested Wifi, Lan, Spdif,
only DTS audio all works OK.
Just the wrong use of the power button on the remote controller "suspend"? the box is sleeping but badly starts will help hard reboot. Over the menu context works Ok. I came back to version 8.0.2b where the button opens the context menu and can be turned off or restarted.
I Can somehow restore this feature from the previous version?
Thank you

Hi Demetris,
I'm new here, from Hungary.
Could you helm me please?I've an MXIII-g 2/8 and I'm in trouble, because I don't really know what the right version is for this box.
I've downloaded 8.0.1 - S82 and 8.0.1 - MXIII-1G, whitch need for me?Right now Openelec 6.0 is running on the box, I think only Openelec (no Android beside - I don't have "reboot to NAND" in menu).
What is the right method to upgrade? Just drop some .tar file into update folder or need any flash as well? Thanks for your help!
Mrrr
For the MXIII-G 2G ram/8G rom
Is a best work version of LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.1-MXIII-PLUS.img.gz or tar

Create backup and make the update using the .tar image, in the .update directory -
This is the official working firmware for my box if you want to take a look . Thanks !

Hi bables150, Thanks for the answer, my TV was not able to switch to the native resolution probably . I see listing text unreadable static logo or picture would look better. Nothing it is just detail
For information
I installed on my box MXIII-G 2/8 update 20170418 completely disappeared Wifi drivers on both versions (LAN1000,MXIII_Plus) -
Dear balbes150!
I have MXIII-G (2/8G) first version and I used the installation LibreELEC-S812.LAN1000.arm-8.0.2.img.gz and LibreELEC-S812.MXIII_Plus.arm-8.0.2.img, both firmware work fine all peripherals (Lan, WIFI), the only problem at the start, I see attach. photo and not logo libreelec, then appears Kodi.
It's alright?
I have tried boot loader for Android 4.4 KK and 5.1LP the same result
Thanks for the info, I apologize for my English
Huge thanks for the effort, balbes150!
