Came in this morning and the EPG had updated. I put in the SD card I was working on earlier and left it a few hours and the EPG had populated there too. So it seemed to just take a few hours to get going.
Thanks

Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance but I am wondering does libreelec for the raspberry come without EPG working out of the box? I installed the VU+/Enigma2 app on a fresh install to test and I am not getting any EPG at all. Before this I set up tvheadend with a dvb-t tuner and I had no EPG data. I assumed I was doing something wrong as everything is working perfectly on my HTPC with libreelec and tvheadend.
I know this is a silly question but I am doing a setup for my brother with everything ready for him but the EPG and I wanted to be sure before I inevitably break the system trying to get it working
Thanks alot

Noticed it was an issue with SD channels and after some googling came to this helpful post by brendanssound (confirmed) :
thread-2685-post-32953.html#pid32953So far so good.

Hi,
I recently installed Libreelec after being on kodibuntu for many years. Everything is working perfectly but I am having an issue with TvHeadend. I installed the front and backend and everything set up fine. When I watch some specific channels after about 10-60 seconds the audio and video freezes - remote stops working etc. I can ssh to machine and do a reboot (although after entering the command it takes about 2 minutes before it reboots).
When I use the link on the tvheadend web Ui to watch the offending channels they work perfectly for long durations which makes me think the issue is with the tvheadend client.
Here is the log file (on pastebin)
As you can see the last logs are "AddOnLog: Tvheadend HTSP Client: pvr.hts - unable to connect to 127.0.0.1:9982". I'm not sure if this is related but when I used the tvheadend wizard I left the passwords blank.
When I SSH to my htpc to test the links I get the following:
CodeLibreELEC:~ # wget 127.0.0.1:9981 Connecting to 127.0.0.1:9981 (127.0.0.1:9981) wget: bad address 'extjs.html' LibreELEC:~ # wget 127.0.0.1:9982 Connecting to 127.0.0.1:9982 (127.0.0.1:9982) wget: error getting response
What is strange is that certain channels work perfectly while others take a minute or so to crash the system. (all are dvb-t).
Thanks very much for your help,
Regards,
