That's strange... Sadly I can't even use an Ethernet connection.
By TX3 you mean TANIX/ZENOPLIGE android box ? I have the TX5 Pro which should be very similar.
I just use Live TV function with OpenVPN.
When I turn on the TV and try to open a channel, it starts loading for few seconds (30 sec) and than nothing.
Tanix TX3 pro, i dont use vpn though but i'm sure that wifi doesn't drop since all my files are on the network.

No one?
i have 2 x S905x (tx3 and x96) boxes running 8.2.1.1 and there is no wifi drop during idle. we usually don't turn off the boxes. no special setup, just normal dhcp with the router.

THX for reporting. I found bug in DVDVideoCodecAmlogic. I'll fix it in next release.
tnx for looking into it. not sure if it helps, but it seems to happen frequently on standard resolution files when I have hardware decoding set to always.

just wondering if anybody is familiar with the error below, sometimes when i click on a file, it doesn't play. when i check the logs only error is that line. its quite random, not sure if its specific to LE9 but I don't get this when running LE8.2
ERROR: CDVDVideoCodecAmlogic::Open - InstanceGuard locked

all my files have .srt, and i don't have any issues with stuttering on 8.2 and le9. also tried your test file, no drops on codecinfo.
-
You may be not so sensitive to that problem. I assure you it's there and it's not specific to that encode I've linked.
Sometimes it stutters but sometimes not doesn't make much sense for me.
here is the video i captured while playing your test file, there is no drops based on the codecinfo
-
just tried the file using 8.2.0.1 and LE9, it's a hit or miss, sometimes it stutters but sometimes not. so not sure if it's specific on that encode.
i always watch movies with subtitles on and doesn't encounter the stutters at all. 95% of the files are 1080p scene rips with external .srt. All have the standard 23.96.

1.0.6 - DVBViewer Client Stutters again on 720p@50fps Channels.
Offtopic:
I have no plan about Linux Development but, is this how it works?
For example, Tomato Router.
Function A works, Function B doesn't work.
The next Firmware Version its the opposite.
Function A doesn't work but Function B works.
Is it the same with Libreelec?
Is this a neverending Story?
You are running LE9 which is not even on alpha stage.
There is no perfect box.

Just curious
If it's that easy why would someone generate a remote.comf from scratch?
on two of my cheap android boxes, the default remote.conf from android doesn't work with LE. hence need to modify manually.

are you using the latest build 10/20?
-
any plans of releasing an update based from kszaq's latest 8.2 build?

Any plans on updating this build based on the latest from kszaq? thanKs

1080p is possible, the problem is Netflix/Amazon are being software decoded. so choppy playback on full hd streams.
-
This is a problem with the plugin, I'm guessing netflix changed something on their end and the addon devs need to update it because it was working fine a couple of days ago.so far so good. downloaded 1.0.3 .tar and auto updated all addons. netflix still works.
-
New build is out, it only has slight changes to fix the Netflix addon issue.
thanks will try out the new build.
sadly there seems to be a netflix python issue with playing videos which have multiple seasons. but that is a separate one

Noticed something on the latest build 24p seems to be played 23.976, i think kazaq have fixed this on 8.1.10, is it possible to include the fix on LE9?
