AFAIK the DTB selection is not necessary on LE 9 S905 - the best I can suggest is to try - if it works, then great.

Personally, I always do a fresh install whenever possible. It may be a bit time consuming but it ensures a clean install and removes any "clag" that may be lying around.
If you want to try an upgrade, just make a copy of your SD card and use that to test, or make a LE backup and then use that to restore to a fresh install.
As with all *new* software there may be issues. so if you are "worried" it may be best to wait for a while.

Personally I would try LE on what you have, with LE installed on a USB flash drive. If it works, then fine. If not, then you'd be better off looking at other alternatives AML, RPi which would be cheaper and probably better than your current spec.

Sounds like an issue with the Confluence skin and you'd be better off posting the issue with the developer or on the Kodi forum Here

How are you installing LE (and what version LE9?) onto the SD card? Are you using the LE installer, if not I'd suggest using that.
Otherwise, try using a smaller SD card and see if that works.
Generally, this issue is rarely seen and a reflash is sufficient.

I agree. I think the *front* part of the website does needs a revamp. However, resources are limited, and also involved in additional activities (LE 9) so it might be a while.

I assume you mean Cubox-i with the imx6 architecture rather than the orifinal Cubox which uses the Armarda 510. (I own both)
LE has never run on the Cubox.
LE 8.2.5 was the last release for Cubox-i. There will NOT be a LE 9 release.
There MAY be a release for imx6 in LE 10 but it all depends on GPU software.

The RPi3 *can* power a SSD but it is not advisable. I've used a SSD directly on the RPi and it works for a bit. However, unless you have a VERY good PSU that keeps a constant 5V over all uses, you will start to see errors.
For safety (and integrity if your data) it's best to use a powered hub.
-
Are you using the internal SD slot?
Try adding the 32 bit efi file to trusted and use the F2 to boot from SD/EMMC
-
I assume the hub you use is powered. My thoughts seems to suggest, either the HUB or the power supply to it, is causing the issue.
Can you provide the output of
dmesg | paste
-
As you're running a later alpha build can you try LE 9 and see if the same problem exists.
-
I'm not too sure what is going on. I have just installed LE 9 without any issues.
By virtue that you use <esc> instead of F2 (In my case) to get to the boot menu, I think you have a different bios.
If the device is less than a year old, you might get better help from Lenovo telephone support or post a question on their support forum.
-
Iridium are you sure you installed LE on Lenovo 300 stick?
Yes it's an Lenovo ideacentre 300. I think i used the (Something like) 32bootasm.efi.
If you're still having problems, please create a new thread (as mentioned before) as this issue is not related to the thread title.

Your best option is to try a fresh install without any addons and see if the problem exists.
If it does, provide a "snippet" of the offending file (If legal).
-
Glad you got it working.
I *believe* it is work in progress.
However with the amount of "Chinese" Android boxes on the market now, it is difficult to keep up with each and every distribution.

From other threads (Search for them) the OSMC Vero 4K+ is a good contender. I don't have one, but other people think this offers the best of all worlds and works (AFAIK) with LE if OSMC is not to your liking.
-
That I don't know, as I don't bother with installtointernal rather moving /storage to emmc. There are threads explaining how to do it.
-
I have a feeling this is related to the internal wifi (If you're using a USB wifi adapter - then forget that bit)
Please provide the output of:
dmesg | paste
and
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link
