i had the same Problem. Did you try to edit the advancedsettings.xml? Remove the entries "skiploopfilter" if you use them.

I tested it on RPi2+LE 8.0.1 with a Philips TV. It works! Thanks a lot!

Hello,

Since Version 8.0.0 my Philips TV did not switch automatically to "Kodi" Channel by powering the TV on. The TV recognizes "HDMI Port x" and shows the Picture of Kodi.
So I see the Picture of Kodi, but the CEC Remote does not work.
After manually changing to the HDMI Port named "Kodi" by TV-RemoteContol, the CEC Funktion works again.
On Versions before 8.0.0 this worked fine. Version 8.0.1 did not fix the problem.

Please help.
