I updated the LE from the 25th, but then i rebooted the box and now its bricked, it turns on and then does nothing. I get a black screen and no signal. My USB drive just flashes and does nothing.
I have MXIII 2G to....put it on confing folder..... remote.conf - Google Drive
Thanks mate, i'll try that as soon as my box starts. I did the mistake of selecting boot from internal, and now when it starts, doesn't show anything on screen.

Have you tried installing the 7th version first? after that, install the update through Kodi like someone said a few posts back.

Ok mate, thanks. I'll do that when I get home. I'll leave a reply later. Did you have any problems with selecting 4K and the image only stays on the top left corner? Even when I boot the box, the LE logo stays there.
Have either of you tried copying your remote.config to the box? If not i suggest you try that. Remote issues have been discussed and people told how to fix several times in this thread already.

You mean copying the file to the configfolder's folder or the /storage/config?

I have the same problem, I also have a problem with the resolution, if I select 4k resolution, the image only ocupies the top left corner.
I checked what the problem could be, and its with the resolution, if i choose 4k, the image stays on the top left corner. So its possible that the resolution has some coding problem?
My box doesnt receive comunication from my remote, does anyone know what can be the problem?
If you are already having 8.0RC4 running, then all you have to do is to copy the 8.0.1a tar file to update directory and reboot

I have an MXIII-2G and I recently upgraded to LibreELEC-S802.S82.arm-8.0.RC4.zip through an sdcard. It appears to be frozen on the "KODI" start-up screen. I'm new to this and need help if anyone has experienced this same issue.
I upgraded my MXIII to the RC4 before and had no problems. With the 8.0.1 version, it doesn't show on the update list.
I tried to use the 8.0.1 on a MXIII 2G but the image isn't showing in the boot menu so I can install it. Can someone help?
