Libreelec Minix Neo U1 (where to put pictures folder for backgrounds)

Hey guys i'm new to libreelec and Finally got around to setting up my minix neo u1 with kodi 17.3 (libreelec) and it's running flawlessly however i'm trying to figure out how to get my pictures folder transferred into libreelec kodi setup. currently on my minix neo u1 device in pictures folder however in libreelec i cannot access this folder to set my multi image backgrounds for skin. where do i transfer this pictures folder to for libreelec? the sd card is only 511mb and only 100 some odd mb left on it so i dont think its enough space or that it's the correct location for it. i know there is a hidden partition in it for all the add ons and user data for kodi etc however i cannot see that. am i missing something here lol? some help would be greatly appreciated as my kodi menu has no backgrounds displaying due to my pictures folder not being accessable or available in libreelec.
