USB-SD Creator doesn't recognize new USB stick

Good afternoon.

Trying to create a bootable USB installer on this newly bought Kingston USb stick:

The installer doesnt recognise the USB drive, whichever way it is formatted, and doesn't make a difference in what port I inject it.

I think I will have to go the rufus way, or use another tool.

Rufus seems pretty straight forward to me, is there any settings I need to change, or the way the stick is formatted before using Rufus?

To clarify what i mean, with the installer i mean the USB CD Creator tool that doesn't recognise the Kingston I bought.

Hi

just try "Raspberry Pi Imager" or "balenaEtcher"

both run without problems even with NVMe cards (USB converter)

Hi,

It was working fine for me before aswell, but seems like some Windows 11 update messed it up.

I suggest using (like johnny depp) etcher (https://etcher.balena.io/#download-etcher) in admin mode.
