[RPi5] 12.0.2 update - USB dongle not recognised at boot

Howdy,
After updating to 12.0.2, my wireless mouse/keyboard no longer start up with LE.
I have to physically unplug/re-plug the dongle after every restart, to have LE recognise it again.
Updating to the latest nightly 12 build didn't fix it.

Update: Fresh installs of 12.0.1 and 12.0.0 now have the same issue persisting.
I'm not sure what could have possibly changed. Why has it worked flawlessly over multiple versions of LE in the past and now arbitrarily stops?

I'm new to troubleshooting Pi stuff, would a log file be helpful for something like this?
