I recently built an RP5 system installed on an Argon ONE V3 case with a 4TB SSD installed. One of the goals of the project was to get away from using an SD card and boot directly off the SSD. This was accomplished without too much difficulty, but when LE 11.0.6 resized the partitions on the first boot, the MBR boot partition forced the SSD to get cut up into multiple partitions due to the MBR 2TB limit.
Question - Is there any downside to using a GPT boot partition on an RP5 LibreELEC distribution? SSD prices are falling pretty fast, and >2TB drives will probably be the norm in a few years. It would be nice to be able to easily use the larger drive sizes for those of us that might want to run an SSD only install.
Thanks
