Driver for TBS-5580

Some days ago I bought a "TBS 5580 Multi-standard Universal TV Tuner CI USB Box" for usage in LE 11, and I'm searching a driver for this configuration.

I found this information on a Download site of the TBS-company for their "TBS 5580 Multi-standard Universal TV Tuner CI USB Box".

A Download of a "TBS Open Source Linux Driver Offline Package V20221231" is offered.

Does anyone have experiences using this downloadable driver?

Even I've experiences using Linux for years, I'm not aware how to install this driver.

I assume that a terminal has to be used, bot how to open it in EL11?

TBS5580 support in LE10, LE11 and LE12 for RPi4

Due to the absence of the CrazyCat drivers for DVB devices like TBS's in LE10 for the Rapsberry Pi 4 for the time being one needs to add them manually by compiling LE.

Here's a patch for the TBS5580 : forum.libreelec.tv/core/attachment/7841/ . It's heavily inspired by the patch for the TBS5520SE by @smp as both devices are almost identical.

Rename the file to remove the ".txt"
Place the file in one of the following folders, depending on you preference
- projects/RPi/devices/RPi4/patches/linux/
