I was going to reply to the earlier thread (Compute Module 4S (CM4 SoC on CM1-3 sized board)) but was recommended to start another.
I just saw this carrier board today CM4 to CM3 Adapter | The Pi Hut - a cheap adapter for the CM4 card.
I had one of the first Slice boxes and was very happy with it, until the arrival of HEVC / X265 meant the ability to save a lot of disk space.
It would be wonderful to restore it to life. The previous thread sort of died away with people agreeing to test a previous carrier board, but sort of fizzled out.
I bet many more slices would come to life if there were an easy pathway, but I suppose it might mostly depend on whether there was space for the carrier board.
Is there any hope, Obi Wan?
