4k 60hz Whitelist

    I've searched for this and added hdmi_enable_4kp60=1 to the config.txt file but still cannot add to my whitelist. I have a 4kuhd friendly drive to rip 4k disks to my nas which I do from my laptop.

    Did you enable "Ultra HDMI deep color" (or some similar setting) on your TV (it's usually a per-HDMI-port setting and some TVs don't support 4kp60 4:4:4 on all ports)? RPi4 won't output 4kp60 without that.

    Brilliant, the Deep color setting was in a hidden menu on my Panasonic OLED so had to get that open, need to be playing something 4k through HDMI to get in. Once I'd made the change then rebooted Kodi I was able to add the 50, 59.94 and 60hz settings in the white list for all 4k.

    Wish I'd found this forum a long time ago. :thumbup:
