LibreELEC 10.0.1 + RPi4: After selecting a radio channel a popping noise emerges before the radio station starts playing

Dear all, after selecting a radio channel (via radio addon) a popping noise emerges before the radio station starts playing. This behavior is not present when just starting to play an .mp3 file from the SD card.

For audio playback I use a hifiberry Amp2 HAT which is working properly.

Does someone have an idea what the reason could be?

Do you get the popping when listening to hdmi audio?

This issue is discussed here, but it seems to be mostly an issue with hifiberry amp2.

I suspect the hardware generates a pop when switching stream properties (e.g. sample rate).

Does setting system/audio configuration from optimised to fixed help?
