I have just installed a fresh install of Libreelec but the top bar is missing. Anyone know how I can get it back? It is there for Music but not for TV Shows or Movies
Categories bar is missing.

Perhaps you need to set the resolution to 1920x1080 (in Kodi menu Settings - System - Display - Resolution).
-
It is already at 1080p
-
Then set your TV's HDMI port / zoom mode to "PC" mode, "just scan", "true" etc. (it depends on TV type / model) or use a specific HDMI port which is dedicated to PC.
The goal should be to turn off overscanning on your TV.

My TV doesn't have that. All I have is a PC mode which is a VGA Port that won't work with a Pi. It use to work before so the resolution is definitely not the issue. Nothing is cropped off the screen.
-
Have you tried the Video calibration in Kodi then (Settings - System - Display - Video calibration)?
What Skin are you using? Did you try to change the Zoom there (Settings - Interface - Skin - Zoom)?
-
I'm using the default skin and I know it has nothing to do with overscan. There is nothing off the screen.
-
It use to work before
OK, unfortunately my Crystal Ball does not show what was "before" so perhaps somebody else have an idea...
-
Before is what the second screenshot is. It shows the categories bar which is missing from my screen (the first screenshot).

Hi if your TV only has a VGA that's the Blue one
you will only be able to use VGA resolutions.
HDMI port is what your would need for 1080 HD or higher.
I had set up using my 4K panel after realizing the codec for playback is restrictive on the Raspberry Pi 4 B I lost interest, connecting instead to my 1080 panel immediately I got hit with under scan problems, and sure enough once I dug around in the SETUP menu for my panel I found how to turn that off. All works fine now.

Go to Settings-->Interface-->Skin-->Configure Skin...-->Main Menu Items.
There enable "Enable category widgets".
