yea I just added the patch, if this works I PR it so it hopefully appears at final version
-
OK so tested it today on both tvheadend server versions (4.2 and 4.3 Alpha) non of them recognized the Haupage. So not good for final version 😅.
But much appreciated your work as always my friend

ya sure, that's what I forgot yesterday to post.

device is detected
not sure whats missing, nothing obvious from the log
likely you need some stuff from Kernel 5.11 (we are at 5.10)
-
The image u created for the raspi 3 the first time was straight forward. Booted up with it and all was good. So maybe it is a problem with the alpha of tvheadend 4.3?
Because basically 4.2 should not work probably on le10 right? After its not updated to run on kodi 19 Base?

problem with the alpha of tvheadend 4.3?
nope, the drivers are not listed so basically the drivers are not up
as long no drivers are working Tvh cant do anything
-
So the driver that runs for the raspi 3 is not updated atm for the raspi 4 and if so, is someone working on that?

We use a different (much older) Kernel for LE9.2, there a all-in-one patch made it work (parts of it are already merged at 5.10).
Now we are at 5.10, at 5.11 the drivers where official added - but its not enough that I added the patch from this thread, there is something else needed I have no idea about.
I could spin up another build, easy peasy but currently no idea what to add.
-
Ye ok, thx for all the work. Then I wait to upgrade to a pi 4 and use it for octoprint until it's ready
-
just to give an update.
I installed the latest 10.0 built and the tuner still gets not recognized

did you tried a nightly build if this works ?
-
did the nightly has new drivers then the first official 10.0 release?
And which nightly u mean? Tvh nightly or libreelec nightly?

did the nightly has new drivers then the first official 10.0 release?
yea they include more recent drivers (the drivers are at the linux kernel)
but be aware that it also updates to Kodi 20 that is pre alpha (you cant downgrade to LE10/K19 easily)
so better do a backup before upgradeIf this works I can make you a LE10 version with the new drivers.
-
so tested on the latest nightly
LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20211001-5def4c6.img.gz
but no luck. also tested both 4.2 and 4.3 (alpha).

can you share a dmesg | paste output ?
looks like something is missing, in theory it should work
