Using Comskip without TVHeadEnd in LibreElec 9.2.2 Generic.x86_64

    I have recently installed LibreElec on my Zotac box.

    I am running NextPVR in a docker image and would like to use comskip.

    I have installed 2 different add-ons for LibreElec and neither is working, they seem to be failing to find some ffmpeg shared libraries.

    Here is the command line and output:

    LibreELEC:~ # ~/.kodi/addons/tools.comskip/bin/comskip videos/South\ Park/Season\ 21/South.Park.S21E04.Franchise.Prequel.ts

    comskip.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.56: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    Any help is much appreciated.

    tools.comskip is nothing we provide so likely broken

    you can install tvheadend and disable it afterwards, then you still can use the com skip binary
