Unsupported browser for google account sign in

I am relatively new to Kodi, and was attempting to sign into my Google account for YouTube TV today through the chrome add-on, and was told that I was not using a supported browser and was unable to log in. Does anyone have a work around for this problem? I appreciate the help, and will try my best to provide additional details as needed, thank you.
