When background video playback is enabled and the TAB key is pressed with video playing, the video display resolution is reduced and the Kodi UI no longer fills the screen.

UPDATE: After extensive troubleshooting, it appears the issue was related to a FLIRC update, and a reset of the FLIRC adapter was necessary.
