Kodi crashing while playing HEVC (h.265) live tv (tvheadend)

Hi, i have RPI 3 as a server with dvb-t2 usb tuner. Then i have 2 machines running libreelec 8.2.4 (odroid c2 and desktop PC with Ati GPU). The problem only happens on the desktop PC. While i am watching dvb-t2 live channel (server is tvheadend), that uses HEVC (h.265), it randomly crash kodi. Sometimes it happens when i start watching channel, sometimes it happens during the playback. The same problem happened in 8.2.3 as well. Dmesg shows:

Hi,

I have found this post when searching solution for my issue. I'm running on Intel i7 (Intel GPU - notebook) and there are segfaults on dvb-t2 channels. But sometimes it works fine for loong time, sometime endless crash loop. I have found already H265 video crashes KODI which links to Driver crash during HEVC playback w/DXVA2 (resume) |Intel Communities with very bad solution - turn off acceleration.

Kodi cannot support HEVC H.265 very well, one method to fix this issue is to convert HEVC H.265 to Kodi supported other video format like H.264.
